1:1 Sessions

Every session at The Neuro Collective is built around you.

Our Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Therapy Assistants bring focused, day-to-day experience in neurological rehabilitation, drawing on current evidence to shape a program that reflects your goals, your capacity, and your life.

No two neurological presentations are the same — and no two treatment plans should be either.

Vestibular Assessment

Dizziness and balance difficulties can be disorienting and difficult to explain.

Our physiotherapists, who have undertaken further vestibular training, use Inventis video frenzel goggles to conduct a comprehensive vestibular assessment — identifying the underlying cause of your symptoms and pairing findings with functional balance assessment to guide a targeted rehabilitation plan.

Concussion Care

Concussion care at The Neuro Collective spans the full recovery continuum.

Our physiotherapists have undertaken additional concussion training and conduct comprehensive acute assessments, guiding graded return to activity and integrating vestibular rehabilitation where dizziness or visual symptoms are present. For people living with persistent post-concussion symptoms, exercise rehabilitation — carefully progressed within individual symptom thresholds — forms the foundation of ongoing care.

Wheelchair Seating

Getting seating right matters — and it takes more than measuring a chair. Fiona leads our wheelchair and assistive technology service, bringing 18 years of prescribing experience and additional training in complex seating.

As physiotherapists, we understand how spasticity, tone, and pressure risk shape posture over time, and we use that knowledge to inform assessments and prescriptions that work for each person's body, goals, and everyday environment.

Gross Motor Skill Assessments

Understanding how a child moves — and what might be getting in the way — starts with a thorough, child-centred assessment.

Our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists work with children across all ages and neurological presentations, taking the time to build connection and draw out each child's best performance. The BOT-2 standardised assessment is available where objective data is needed to support therapy goals, or clinical reports.

Gross Motor Skill Programs

Following assessment, we work with families to develop a gross motor program that fits the child's needs and their life.

Sessions can be delivered one-on-one throughout the year, or children can join our school holiday groups for a fun, goal-focused environment alongside peers. For families wanting more intensive progress in a concentrated period, one-on-one intensive blocks are also available during school holidays — a great option for children who respond well to focused, high-frequency input.

Group Classes

Group exercise at The Neuro Collective is delivered by our team across a range of formats and abilities. Our Parkinson's-specific class is designed around the evidence for exercise in Parkinson's disease — targeting the movement, strength, and balance challenges that matter most, in a supportive group environment.

For adult clients with other neurological presentations, our broader group classes address strength and conditioning, balance, and neurological rehabilitation, with programs adapted to suit a range of abilities and goals.

Supervised Gym

Consistency is one of the most powerful drivers of neurological recovery — and supervised gym sessions make that consistency achievable.

With up to four clients per session, each working through their own tailored program, our team can provide the oversight and cuing needed to ensure exercises are performed well and progressed appropriately, without the cost of a one-on-one appointment (eligibility criteria apply).
